Sounds good, I will post any info I find about the video icons. Ya I have seen the UnitEID field on my Innotab 2 but it is never used. I was going to do the same in my scanner app where it would scan the database for one first and use that. Not familiar with java, but maybe you can also allow you to enter the value somowhere and have it use that or read from a uniteid.txt file on the SD root or something as an alternative.
