If you flash the firmware and then upon reboot it just sits on the firmware update in progress screen and stays that way forever, you may have corrupted the firmware by using a bad SD card.
Please be sure to use quality SD cards when flashing and possibly test them by putting videos on them and playing them in the tablet. If you notice the SD card sometimes shows the videos and sometimes it does not, you could have a bad quality SD card.
