Boots to update in progress after mod - Deak Phreak - 05-23-2014

If you flash the firmware and then upon reboot it just sits on the firmware update in progress screen and stays that way forever, you may have corrupted the firmware by using a bad SD card.

Please be sure to use quality SD cards when flashing and possibly test them by putting videos on them and playing them in the tablet. If you notice the SD card sometimes shows the videos and sometimes it does not, you could have a bad quality SD card.

You can keep playing around with it. I had that happen on one of mine after an official update. My device was apart though and realized it was due to the camera not being plugged in. I let it sit there for quite some time and after playing with it, it finally booted. If you have tried many times and it still won't boot, the firmware is most likely corrupt and you will need to follow the un-bricking tutorial.
