Spiffy Hacks

I have InnoTab 3s v42.31121. I try to put custom firmware and I need to upload a MP3. Unfortunately when I do this learning lounge start to download new firmware and I'm affraid it will flash it and I cannot upload the custom one.

Is there any thing I can do to prevent the download and the update to the latest firmware?
I'm not sure which version is the latest one.

I don't believe so. You can search the learning lodge program logs on your PC and search through them to find your UnitEID rather then uploading a song. Just open some of the logs in the app directory and do some searches for UnitEID or ID etc. They may have it labelled different in the logs.

i just put my sons custom tablet into the computer and let it update and the games that were on it still work idk how but they do so i would just let it update. New Update Number 46.40521

edit: it seems all the full game cartridge backups work but the flash games dont work

If there is anything i can do to help you make a new custom Firmware for this new update. Let me know

Yea cartridge backups will still work because they are in .bin format and not really launched from the SD but rather mounted. You need to do a backup of the firmware and post it along with the version and locale such as EN, FR, SP etc.

Great, I just happen to be in a spot where I could quickly get this one modded. My computer will be out of commission for a bit soon so you got lucky

Edit: I noticed the zip is named the wrong version, bit it is the correct version inside the zip.

My innotab 3s was 46.40521 as well and I used this firmware. After executing the file under games, it rebooted. Now when the innotab comes on it will load up the firmware is in progress for about 30-40 seconds, then go black like it shuts off. No other buttons work, etc. Ive let it set there for 10+ minutes. Only way to get it to come on is to take out the batteries and restart, which it does it again.
Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
