Auto Firmware Patcher
#1
If you are familiar with patching firmware, you can use this script to automate the process.  I am not going to post all the files, but if you are familiar enough with the process already, this should help you out.  I am including any files that do not contain any copyrighted code, you must get the others yourself.

Folder Structure:
-> modfiles - folder
-> package (This folder will have the installer files such as execute.ita, my_Run, LLN etc)
     RunApp - file
     RunAppMod - file
modfirmware.sh - file

Setup:
You will need to grab one of the Innotab2 firmware zip mods and copy (flash4, LLN and execute.ita)
to the package folder.  If you want to do it how I have mine, you can grab the flash4 files for the I3 from HERE and put them in the package/flash4-innotab3 folder or whatever you want to call it.  This way those files are there and handy in case you mod an I3 firmware and that person wants to use them, they will have them on the SD card already.

Next you will need to find the modified RunApp and copy it to /modfiles/RunAppMod then get a fresh backup copy of RunApp and copy it to /modfiles/RunApp.  You should ensure the only differences between the fresh copy and the mod is the patch. If there is other code differences, you should find another copy or make the modifications to ensure the only difference is the patch.  These are the files it will check against for differences so you must make sure they match.

To Run:
Now all you need to do is copy a firmware alongside your modfirmware.sh script and run it like this ./modfirmware.sh Firmware.bin

.zip   FirmwarePatch.zip (Size: 7.01 MB / Downloads: 282) - Updated 2/7/2016

Notes:  I include a folder called flash4-innotab3 because the innotab3 may need different flash files.  If you have issues, delete the flash4 folder on the SD card and rename flash4-innotab3 to flash4

I will re-post this with the update once I get a chance

It should be easy enough to add a question mid script if this is for an Innotab 3 and then copy the flash files for the I3 instead of including both. I'm not sure if it is worth the time though unless someone else wants to or if its possible to find out the device type and automatically copy it.

No, this is just for the innotab 1,2,3, 3s etc not the max. The max is android based and totally different.

I updated the script to do a few more checks for required files and folders. Please only use this if you are familiar with the process already and understand what is going on.
