Leap Pad Manager
New version has been uploaded. I will now try to install like the Ultra does into the database. This is just a shot in the dark, but feel free to try it out.

Remember, if you are connected to the PC software when plugged in or to your network via WIFI, it WILL wipe any non official apps.

It is on bitbucket, but not open to everybody. https://bitbucket.org/jtriptow/leappad-manager

If I feel someone can contribute then I may add them to help code, but at this time, I think it is good how it is now.

Okay that worked, I was able to convert the video and upload it to the leappad. One issue it created another folder called Video instead of putting it in the same Video folder. Is there a way to put it under the same folder? What is the best way to change the icon.

Update: I edited the two icons files and the leappad showed them being empty (Play video icon with white background) is there a size limitation of how big the icon can be?

On step 7 when you edit the images, you should keep them the same size and not overwrite them. Just open them, edit and save. The program works in a designated folder to convert, prepare and zip the video into an archive to transport through the program. It is possible to keep them in the same folder as the original video, but I don't see the point.

Thanks for the quick response.  Would you be willing to give me read only access?  I feel better when there are multiple eyes looking at the code.  I also have a Mac and not windows, so I was curious about the language used etc, to see if I could compile it differently (MONO if you are using .net) or hopefully c++ so I can just make some minor modifications here and there.... rather than scrounging up a windows box.

FYI, I am interested in making the 4 leappads (all with different ISSUES)  for my 2 kids more usable as the oldest is interested in other content not available through leappad.

I am not ready to open up the source code yet. It is written in c# using Visual Studio.

Would you please consider opening it up for me?  Your previous response indicated you have done this for others...  Thanks.

It seems everytime I upload more than one videos, it creates a new video folder. Can you modify so it puts it into one.
